More director than documentarist, Ryan McGinley alternates between beautiful rural landscapes and studio shoots. He breaks down the barrier between private and public spaces – between nature's space and culture's; between what is personal and what is constructed. Photographs in which his imagination has become imprinted on the reality he captures. The images are dreamed worlds willed into existence.
“Wandering Comma”, his new exhibition is scheduled to begin on November 24th and will run through December 22nd, 2011 at the Alison Jacques Gallery in London.

Pepe Heykoop is a Dutch furniture designer with an amazing sense of style. His latest work 'The skin collection' is made out of leather leftovers. It's a reaction to the excessive waste produced by the furniture industry. His older work is also worth checking out. His pieces are a great addition to your home!

Aakash Nihalani is a pioneer in street art. Called the 'Urban Prankster' because of his funny way of making art. Sometimes the most simplistic ideas are the greatest ones. Using tape he try's to create an illusion of three-dimensional shapes in and around New York City. The outcome is an odd and interesting image that makes you really curious.
Off course a creative artist like this has a great website. Enjoy the pics and don't forget to check out the interaction section!
Check out his website.

If your house was burning, what would you take with you? It's a conflict between what's practical, valuable and sentimental. What you would take reflects your interests, background and priorities. Think of it as an interview condensed into one question.
Check out some great 'wish lists' here.

Yes! We like this stylo! Carl Kleiner has a recognizable signature look.
His graphical approach to photography is apparent through his technical use of colour and simple, almost organic layouts.

Le Bon Marché explores the history of Christian Dior in an exhibition that contrasts the sleek New Look of the late 1940s with the fairytale creations of John Galliano. What comes across most strongly is the brand's mastery of symbols – from the medallion chair to the J'Adore fragrance bottle, as well as the famous "Montaigne grey" – and its ability to draw in cultural references, with dresses that refer to India, Japan and Velasquez.
